The Homo Sapiens diverged from other species due to unique characteristics, these include gossip and some form of elevated consciousness according to Yuval Noah Harari, best-selling author of Sapiens and Homo Deus. Having now evolved into complex societies where the individual is both at the center and the periphery of the community, where are we heading in terms of our "selves" and our entourage, from our family, district, or nation, to the global community? Who we are and our actions are under constant pressure to change from a variety of sources; what is the desired direction for us as a species? The dialogues of feminism, racism, and posthumanism have recently revolutionized academic and sometimes public spheres, yet what is the future of these philosophies and how do they intersect with one in the world for tomorrow?

As a guideline, this sub-topic enables the participants to accentuate how we interact as individuals and build our own persona. Additionally, within a wider context how do we build, maintain, and form a united family, state, a global community?

On February 24th this panel will be facilitated by Tobias c. van Veen and ZiggZaggerZ!
